Our Read With Me audio reaction series is back, and this time we’re diving into one of the most talked-about romantasy books of the last decade: Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros.

This isn’t a read-aloud. It’s a five-part audio series where I react to the book in real time—sharing thoughts, highlights, character takes, romantic tension breakdowns, and all the dragon-fueled drama you could want.

Whether you’ve already read Fourth Wing or are just cracking open Chapter One, this series is for you. I’ll walk through the book section by section, with each part covering a different chunk of chapters (those details will be in each post). There will be some spoilers, so if you’re new to the book, I recommend reading before listening.

And yes: we’ll talk about Violet Sorrengail, her impossible odds, and of course, Xaden Riorson—who just might be the most iconic “shadow daddy” in romantasy.
